Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies Awenox uses, why we use them, and the choices you have. It applies to awenox.com and the Awenox application. For more on how we handle personal data, see our Privacy Policy.

Plain-language summary for convenience — the legal text below is what governs.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They help sites work, work better, or work more efficiently — for example by remembering your preferences, securing your session, or measuring which features people use most.

2. Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are required to run the Service. They cannot be switched off in our systems. They are usually only set in response to actions you take — logging in, setting privacy preferences, or filling in forms.

awx_csrf

awx_workspace

3. Analytics cookies

These cookies help us understand how the Service is used in aggregate — which pages are popular, which features convert, and where we can improve. They never identify you individually outside of Awenox.

_aw_session
Awenox first-party analytics
_aw_uid
Anonymous visitor ID
_ph_*
PostHog product analytics

4. Marketing cookies

Marketing cookies are set on our public marketing pages (awenox.com) by us and our advertising partners to measure the effectiveness of campaigns. They are never set inside the Awenox application itself, and only run with your explicit consent in our cookie banner.

_li_id
LinkedIn Insight
_gcl_au
Google Ads conversions
_meta_pixel
Meta retargeting

5. Managing your preferences

You can manage cookies in three ways:

  • Open the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer of any awenox.com page to change consent.
  • Adjust your browser settings to block or delete cookies — note this may break parts of the Service.
  • Use a privacy-focused browser extension (uBlock Origin, Ghostery, etc.) to block trackers.

Withdrawing consent only affects cookies set after the change. Existing analytics or marketing cookies remain on your device until they expire or you clear them.

6. Do Not Track & Global Privacy Control

We respect Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. When your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of analytics and marketing cookies. We do not act on the older "Do Not Track" header because the W3C standard was never finalized.

7. Updates to this policy

As our tooling evolves, this list will change. We will update this page whenever cookies are added or removed and keep the "Last updated" date at the top current.
